Chicken Dumplings Soup

Ingredients
  • 4-6 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (15 oz.) can chicken broth
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley
  • 6-8 refrigerator biscuits or crescent rolls (raw)
  • 1 bag frozen mixed vegetables
  • Pepper to taste

    Put defrosted chicken in the crock pot. Add butter, cream of chicken soups and chicken broth and stir to combine. Add the onion, parsley and pepper and stir again to combine.

    Cook on low for 4-6 hours, stirring occasionally and shredding the chicken as it cooks. Ninety minutes to 2 hours before you plan on eating, add the mixed vegetables; 30 minutes to 1 hour before you plan on eating, cut the raw biscuits or crescents into small pieces and add to the crock pot. Cook on low for another 30 minutes to 1 hour.
