Choco-Dot Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2/3 cup shortening
- 2/3 cup butter, softened
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 3/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cup plain M&M's candy
- 1 cup chopped nuts

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix sugars, shortening, butter, vanilla and eggs in large bowl; stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Stir in candies and nuts. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonsful about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Press 3 or 4 additional candies in each cookie if desired. Bake until light brown, 9 to 11 minutes. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet.
