Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookies

Ingredients
  • 2 1/4 cup unsifted flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 package (4 serving) instant pudding mix (pudding may be butter pecan, butterscotch, chocolate, milk chocolate, chocolate fudge, French vanilla or vanilla flavor)
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 12 oz chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

    Mix flour with baking soda. Combine butter, the sugars, pudding mix and vanilla in large mixing bowl; beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture, then stir in chips and nuts. Batter will be stiff. Drop by rounded measuring teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets, about 2 inches apart. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
