Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp lard or butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • Sugar
  • Cinnamon
  • Chopped nuts
Instructions

    Mix and sift all the dry ingredients. Beat eggs and combine with the milk. Add the liquid to the dry ingredients. Add the melted lard.

    Pour into a long, flat (9 x 13) pan that is greased. Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon and chopped nuts if you desire.

    Bake 25-30 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Serve warm.
