Ingredients
  • 3 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup margarine or butter
  • 2/3 cup (5 1/3 oz. can) evaporated milk
  • 12 oz package chocolate chips
  • 7 oz jar marshmallow creme
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candy
  • 1 tsp vanilla

    Combine sugar, butter and milk in heavy 2½ quart saucepan; bring to full rolling boil, stirring constantly to prevent scorching. Remove from heat; stir in chocolate chips until melted. Add marshmallow crème, peppermint candy and vanilla; beat until well blended. Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Cool at room temperature. Cut into squares.
