Ingredients

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 slices bread
Instructions

    Beat egg slightly. Add milk and salt. Dip bread in mixture and brown first on one side and then on the other, in a hot, well greased pan. Serve toast hot.

Note

Serve with syrup, butter and powdered sugar or sugar and cinnamon on top.
