Ingredients
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt

    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy; blend in egg and vanilla. Add flour and salt; mix well. Form tablespoonfuls of dough into assorted shapes; place on ungreased cookie sheet. Decorate as desired by pressing cut gum drops, raisins, M&M’s or nuts into dough. Bake at 375 degrees for 6-8 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
