Ginger Snaps

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 5 tbsp molasses
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp allspice
  • 1 3/4 cup flour

    Cream the butter and sugar. Mix in remaining ingredients. Form into small balls, then press the dough on the cookie sheet with a glass dipped in sugar until very thin. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until done.

    Store in an air-tight container.
