Makes 20-25 large (1/4 to ½ cup dough) or 5-6 dozen small cookies

Ingredients
  • 1/2 lb butter
  • 2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cup white sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 4 tbsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 3 cup peanut butter
  • 9 cup oatmeal (old fashioned, not instant)
  • 1 lb M&M's or chocolate chips

    Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs; mix well. Add vanilla, baking soda, cornstarch and peanut butter; mix well. Stir in oatmeal and then add M&M's. Drop by 1/4 to 1/2 c. or spoonfuls onto a baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-25 minutes, depending on the size of the cookies.
