Peanut Butter Torte

Ingredients
  • 2/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 cup flour
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 oz carton cool whip, divided
  • 3 oz package instant chocolate pudding
  • 3 oz package instant vanilla pudding
  • 2 3/4 cup milk

    Mix together butter and flour. Press into bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan and bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

    Cream together cream cheese and peanut butter. Blend in powdered sugar and half the carton of cool whip. Put over cooled crust.

    Mix together dry puddings. Add milk and mix until thick. Pour on top of cream cheese and peanut butter mixture. Top with the remaining cool whip.

    Top the dessert with shaved chocolate, mini chocolate chips or crushed M&M's.
