Makes 3 medium or 5 small loaves

Ingredients
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup salad oil
  • 3 cup flour
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 can (13 oz.) evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup poppy seeds

    Beat eggs. Add sugar and beat well. Add salad oil. Mix flour with soda and salt. Add to oil mixture alternately with evaporated milk. Stir in poppy seeds and nuts. Pour into 3 medium or 5 small bread pans well greased and floured. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
