Strawberry Chiffon Squares

Ingredients
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cup finely crushed vanilla wafers (45)
  • 1 package (3 ounce) strawberry gelatin
  • 3/4 cup boiling water
  • 1 can (14 ounce) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 package (10 ounce) frozen sliced strawberries in syrup, thawed
  • 4 cup miniature marshmallows
  • 1 cup whipping cream, whipped

    In a small saucepan, melt butter; stir in crumbs. Pat firmly on bottom of 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Chill. In large bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water; stir in sweetened condensed milk and undrained strawberries. Fold in marshmallows and whipped cream. Pour into prepared pan. Chill two hours or until set. If desired, garnish with whipped topping and strawberries. Refrigerate leftovers.
