Stuffed Italian Bread

Ingredients
  • 1 loaf Italian (or French) bread
  • 8 oz mushrooms (optional)
  • 1 1/2 stick butter, melted
  • 1 tsp Lawry's seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp ground mustard
  • Shredded cheese, Swiss and/or Mozzarella (can mix together)

    Slice the bread into 1" think slices, don't cut quite all the way through.

    Melt together butter, Lawry's, lemon juice and mustard. Coat both sides of the bread with the butter mixture.

    In between each slice of bread, place the mushrooms and cheese.

    Wrap in foil and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
